Florida Tropical Storms
Every year, tropical storms and tropical depressions buffet Florida. These storms, while less intense than hurricanes, can significantly affect the state’s residents and economy.
Because a tropical storm or a tropical depression can quickly develop into a hurricane, these storms can scare away people who would otherwise plan to visit Florida.
